Routing table

I have to work in the routing table,
Does somebody knows a better way to manipulate it than using the "route" command with NSTask ?
I've read the route(4) man page, but i have no idea about how to use the socket() function to do that. I'd like to find an example.

Ideally, I'd like to get the routing table in a NSArray.
Is there an existing class to do that ?
