can I change the cursor to wait cursor?

Hi,

I'm developing an application using Cocoa/Objective-C. During some opeartion I
need to change the cursor to "wait(busy) cursor" so that the user cannot do
any other operation that time. The system is not changing the cursor
automatically to a wait cursor. Can I do it explicitly by writing some code?
If that is not possible, then what is the way out to restrict the user to do
any other operation that time.

Thanks,

Shyam
