Error 1000 and no menus or icon???

Hi,

I have done a Cocoa app that uses a little C++ code from an open source project, wrapped in an ObjC class. Trouble is, when I launch it by double-clicking it in the Finder, I get a message about "Error 1000" from Finder.

When I run it from PB, the app launches, the window displays, but neither do I get a dock icon, nor does the application has a menu bar. The window is also inactive and behind the debugger's window until I click it.

Anybody seen this before? Is this an issue with ObjC++? Has this something to do with complaints I get about a duplicate strncmp() in the app (the C++ code is cross-platform and does lots of compatibility stuff...)?

Cheers & thanks in advance,
