NSImage help

i have an image in my resources folder named top.tiff. What I dont know how to do is get the image to display in my program at the top center. This is actually my first time trying to add an image to any program I wrote. I dont have any cocoa books home with me or this would probably be trivial. Maybe one of you can show me how to add this image to my program.
