my program is a screen saver, should have mentioned that. And i want
the image to be centered top center on the screen. I just dont know
how to code it.

Top center of what?
If all you want to do is show an image, you can add the tiff file to
your project, and then just put an NSImageView in a window in the
Interface Builder, and set its image in the inspector panel.
