I cant say what was wrong in the first attempt: if I looked at the bytes the binding gave me then and printed them out as chars, the data said "typedstream[somebyteshere] NSMutableData". I dont know what that was...
Anyway, it works now, but still I wonder where the documentation for it is. am I supposed to figure it out myself?
