Hello!

There is a new filter functionality in ColorSync, which enables one to create filter which specifies that all images in PDF are to be JPEG compressed. This filter can then be selected in Print panel.

But what if one wants to get the PDF programmatically from NSView, e.g. with -dataWithPDFInRect: ? How can one persuade the system to use this filter and make the PDF with JPEG compressed images? This is important because it decreases the size of the PDF drastically...

Anybody?

izidor
