The closest thing I'm aware of is:
/Developer/Applications/Interface Builder.app/Contents/Resources/IBAquaGuideRules.plist

This is the data that Interface Builder uses to generate the guides for positioning views. It might be useful to you to grab the numbers out of there and put them in some form that would be appropriate for whatever you need...

Hope this helps,
- Greg

I don't believe these values are available programatically. I do agree that it seems like a good idea to have them though. I'd suggest filing a feature request at bugreport.apple.com.

Is there a file somewhere in Mac OS X headers or somewhere where you can get the values for Apple Human Interface guidelines?

For instance, I'm looking for a file with the constants for such value as the horizontal spacing between 2 buttons.

I know the values from the AHIG document but I would prefer a file with those values if there's one. I have looked in the AppKit and found none. A search on Apple Web site didn't give any result.
