NSTextField nib error

Something weird is happening. I have a TextField in a nib file and when I run the program I keep getting

-[NSTextField copyWithZone:]: selector not recognized

This is all under panther, updated, etc. This is a panther only program. I said I wanted the latest nib format... What do I need to do to get this VERY SIMPLE program to load?
