Just a hunch: Have you checked that all your .plist entries have the correct type and format? E.g. (at last for a while, maybe it's fixed now) NSUIElement required a String reading "1", not a number or an NSBoolean set to 1, or your app would crash when launched. Could it be something like that?

Or perhaps the executable you sent your users became corrupted during transfer? have you checked whether using a copy obtained by the same means through which your users get the app crashes this way?
