PS: Does anybody know a Cocoa reporting tool?

There is a java tool you can bridge to your Cocoa application (open source)
http://datavision.sourceforge.net/

other commercial solutions exist too like DrawWell/ReportWell (Objective-C),
BigFaceLess (Java),

A quick and easy solution is also to use FileMakerPro by scripting a combination of export/import operations,
if not ideal - obviously - for a commercial app, it may be quite useful to use in the prototyping phase of a project
