Debugging not working in Xcode 1.0.1

  • Subject: Debugging not working in Xcode 1.0.1
  • From: Michael Ledford <email@hidden>
  • Date: Mon, 24 Nov 2003 09:35:22 -0500

Component versions
Xcode IDE: 256.0
Xcode Core: 257.0
ToolSupport: 247.0

It seems for some reason that Xcode is not generating debugging symbols
therefore I am unable to debug. I have set breakpoints both in the IDE
and via the gdb interface with no luck.

Here is a picture of the current settings. Note the build target at the
top and it states "debug-symbols:off". However in the project inspector
it is clearly shown that the debug symbols are turned on.

I have flipped the switch both ways and has not affected the build.
Does anyone have any insight into this problem?

Thanks,
Michael
