Hi, is there a way to extend the Mac OS X to lock ones screen similar to X Windows xlock or Windows "Lock Computer" ?

Thanks in advance,

Open "KeyChain Access" app. Choose "View->Show Status in Menu Bar".
This puts a menu extra that has a "Lock Screen" menu item (which
just invokes your chosen screen effect.) To me, this is better than
designating a hot-corner for screen effects as I was frequently
invoking the screen saver by accident.

Oh, yeah - do it the Cocoa way... ;)
