I have tried to install Project Builder (Dec 2002 update) in one of the lastest betas of panther. All seems to be ok, but when i try to use the debugger i get an error like this:

"bfd.framework not found in ...."

I have tried to put this framework (from a Juguar machine) into the required folder...but nothing... PB say to me:
"dyld: /usr/libexec/gdb/gdb-powerpc-apple-macos10 file is not a regular file: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/bfd.framework/Versions/A/bfd (can't possibly be a library)

The Debugger has exited due to signal 5 (SIGTRAP).
"

So i would to know if anyone has encountered the same problem with PB.
Yes XCode is the future tools, but i would to continue to use the DEV tools....

1. Please, *please* set your system clock! Your e-mails are all "arriving" in October 2002, which is really annoying for those of us that sort our inboxes by date.

2. I doubt Project Builder is supported on Panther, and there's a strong possibility that installing it (as you have done) will break things. I don't know why BFD isn't working; I suspect the problem could be that there is a broken symbolic link at /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/bfd.framework/Versions/A/bfd, but when I look on my machines, I see a proper executable image at that location. Try doing entering

ls -lF /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/bfd.framework/Versions/A/bfd

in a Terminal window and see what it says.

Kind regards,

Alastair.
