Subject: Instance won't connect to outlet
I've done a search for this all over and can't find anything about it.
Here's the deal. I have a NSText outlet in one of my classes in
interface
builder. I want to connect an instance of the object to the outlet so
I
can modify the the text depending on conditions in my application. But
when I try to do this I get a message at the bottom of the connections
panel that says "filenameLabel must be of type NSText" while it already
is of type NSText.
I'm sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology here. Total
newbie. I've posted a screenshot of the error msg:

I think you are mixing up NSText and NSTextField..
