Yes and Yes, but please don't do this! Some other developer did this in
a screen saver, and it turned out to be one of the worst screen savers
ever, mainly because it messed with peoples' screen resolutions. You

I'm not sure if Apple will maintain the ability or not, but I'm of the
opinion that changing any of these things in a screen saver is a bad
idea... The above is an example of why.
