[OT] Panther's Mail.app

Hello,

Is it OK to ask question about the latest Mail.app on this list? Or is there an alternative mailing list or feedback channel regarding Mail.app?

For example, the Panther version introduces what looks like a nifty new widget to handle email addresses ("Smart Addresses" or such). However, this widget suffer from one fatal flaw: you cannot select its text content :( This is a total show stopper for me...

Other than that, the latest Mail.app is a great improvement over the previous version. One of the niftiest new feature must be the transparent support for encryption and digital signatures.

Check JOAR's great article for more details:

http://www.joar.com/certificates/body.html

And make sure to get your personal certificate courtesy of Thawte:

And keep these good people from the NSA on their toes ;)

Now... Is there any documentations regarding Panther Mail's bundle extension mechanism? Or is it something to that need to be reverse engineered once again? Did anybody went through this exercise already?

Thanks :)

Cheers,

PA.
