Partial answer to myself. The "hole" problem does not occure with
Millions of colors, only when the monitor is set to thousands.
Nobody has information about this ?

Hello list,
Under Jaguar, I finally managed to get transparent NSTextView, with
the help of AJRTextView sample code posted here.
But with Panther, it seem this code does not work perfectly, I have
report of BuddyPop users that installed Panther and get a transparent
hole in place of the contact info NSTextView.
Now I have a brand new 15" powerbook, and no way to debug this issue
that seem to occured with machines without QuartzExtreme, but not all
of them... :-(
Does somebody have some informations about this issue ?
