Hello all,
I'm probably going to be upgrading my main drive to Panther either today or
tomorrow afternoon. The way I've been dealing with the Panther seeds up
until its release was by having one partition (5GB) used soley for the
current Panther seed and nothing else (I didn't even store my apps on this
drive because I erased it before each new seed installation), and the other
15GB partition used for Jaguar (which I haven't booted into for quite some
time now). Now, I realize that with the release of the new OS and the new
developer tools, I would be better off keeping Jaguar around for software
testing purposes.
So I have two options here. One, I could simply upgrade Jaguar to Panther on
the first partition, and then wipe the second partition and put Jaguar on
it, or second, I could try and find a service out there that let's
developers test their software on different systems. Does anyone know of any
service like this that isn't too expensive, or should I just stick with
having both OS's on my system at once?
Thanks,
Marc Weil
