Yes! I received feedback regarding bug reports as well.
Feature requests take some significant longer time to process,
but Apple gets back some time later...

P.S. Example - Mail just deleted the cc address for absolutely no

Rest assured that Apple does not ignore bug reports.
It helps if your bugs are clearly written, have steps to reproduce (if
possible), and a screenshot. Even if you can't reproduce the bug, if
you can provide a screenshot and/or a crash log, that information will
be tracked.
Even if you think it is an obvious bug that someone else *must* have
already reported, file a bug! Duplicates often have additional
information and the more folks that notice a bug, the more likely it
is to be fixed.
From my time prior to joining Apple, I reported quite a few bugs
through http://bugreport.apple.com/. I know it can feel like shouting
into a bottomless well in that there is little feedback in the process.
The bugs are reviewed and processed.
So -- please file those bugs!! And feature/enhancement requests!!
