Using bundled tool in Xcode

I'm working on an application that uses a tool running under administrative
permissions. I had no problem under ProjectBuilder to have the compiled tool
copied into my Resources folder, inside my application wrapper, but for some
reason, I can't seem to get this to work in Xcode.
I did open my app target, and in the 'General' tab, I added by tool, but
whenever I build for development or deployment, the tool is missing from my
main application.
Anybody has any idea?
Thanks in advance!
-Laurent.

dinosaur n.: 1. Any hardware requiring raised flooring and special power.
Used especially of old minis and mainframes, in contrast with newer
microprocessor-based machines. In a famous quote from the 1988 Unix EXPO,
Bill Joy compared the liquid-cooled mainframe in the massive IBM display
with a grazing dinosaur "with a truck outside pumping its bodily fluids
through it". IBM was not amused. Compare big iron; see also mainframe. 2.
[IBM] A very conservative user; a zipperhead.
