I've got a screen saver I wrote prior to Panther that stopped working. There was one bug I worked around pretty quickly in NSData's URL loading stuff. No problem, I updated it to use NSURLConnection which made things a lot better anyway.

However, I've got this new strange problem I can't figure out. My screen saver works fine in saver lab, and even in the ``Test'' thing under system preferences, but I just get a black screen when the actual screen saver kicks in.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

When it kicks in after hitting the Preview button in System Preferences or when it kicks in from a hot-corner or idle delay?
