I'm not sure it was in the docs, and I could be wrong - I remember trying this and not being able to get it to work reliably - but that could have been a limitation of an earlier version of Mac OS X (It could actually even have been a version of Cocoa that was pre-Mac OS X, ie. OpenStep / WebObjects for Windows).

Mark: Submenus in pop up buttons works fine for you now? What versions of Mac OS X have you tried it on / do you support?
