XCode or code problems?

I'm having a few problems, and I honestly don't know if it is my code
or Xcode that is responsible. I compile a simple program that sets up
an NSNetServiceBrowser. It compiles and runs just fine, I send it to a
friend, and it quits on launch. I send him the project however, and it
compiles and runs just fine. Does anyone know if I am doing something
incorrectly? Some new setting I have to do in Xcode not required in
Project Builder? I had almost the exact same project in Project
Builder and it compiled and ran find on my computer as well as anyone
who I sent it to.
