Insetting text container with cursor rects

Hi,

When I use [myTextView setTextContainerInset:NSMakeSize(20,20)] then all the cursor and tool tip rects I carefully set up using [layoutManager rectArrayForCharacterRange:...] cease to work. Insetting the rects given doesn't seem to quite work.

Does anybody have a good work-around or solution to this.
