Opening text objects to AppleScript

  • Subject: Opening text objects to AppleScript

I have been making a Cocoa app scriptable. I have many things working (after much trial and error), but I do not see how to open my key text objects to scripts. Most of my previous success was after finding examples (e.g. MacTach article by Andrew Stone, in vol 16). Perhaps someone has an example for the following situation

1. The document is in the scripting suite and commands and attributes are working.

2. This NSDocment uses a window controller and that window has two text fields.

3. I would like to "tell" the document to work with both of the text fields in the associated controllers window.

It is common problem throughout this application (text fields in controllers and not in the document) and one example should solve them all. Probably only need example of suite definition and terminology unless coding is not obvious.
