This is beginning to get as meaningless as the OS war diatribes.
Programming languages are tools - you pick your tools according to a
combination of features and what you're comfortable with. There isn't
necessarily a right or wrong, and somebody who feels more comfortable with a
given feature set is not necessarily ignorant or lazy for liking it that
way.

Could we either try to keep the discussion on topic - ie, providing a
comparison or pointing out equivalent features without descending into a
questionable rant about what's "best" - or take the rants off list?
