I think deprecated is an appropriate term in this case. Yes. Support
for it is not present in 10.1 or 10.2. Not sure about 10.x, but I'd not
count on it.
You can embed frameworks for your own application to use within the
wrapper. If you want other apps to access frameworks, then you need to
use ~/Library/Frameworks or /Library/Frameworks or one of the other
supported search paths.
