Setting Alpha of an NSView

  • Subject: Setting Alpha of an NSView

is there a way to set the Alpha of an NSView - specifically an NSQuickDrawView?

I'd like to overlay two views with some transparency.

The only info I can find is more making entire windows transparent and that is not what I want to do.

thanks
