The Address Book API talks about an Contry Code key, used instead of
Country key, to identify an address. Does the Address book support
this? If a user enters an address with country of German or Germany or
Deutch (all aceptable), does the code automatically get set to "de"?
Address Book certainly knows what format to use, because you can set
the format of individual addresses (a feature that I use, as I'm in the
UK, which doesn't use US-format addresses). As a user, you can set it
by picking "Change address format" from the address type menu (the one
with "Home", "Work" etcetera in it) in the Address book's Edit mode.
Whether you can get at the information programmatically, I don't know.
Kind regards,
Alastair.
