I'm trying to get a pointy menu that looks like the ones you get in the dock. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Or is is a private subclass that was in the Dock.app? Has anyone seen it anywhere else?

A "pointy menu"? Are you referring to a dock menu - the kind that pops up when you click and hold an item in the dock? If that's what you're looking for, you want to connect a menu to the dock menu outlet of your NSApplication instance in Interface Builder.

I actually wanted to create, in my program, a pop-up menu that looks like that "pointy menu" in the dock. I am making a sort of app that should have this kind of menu in it.
