After spending too much time on this issue with my PalmOS products, I expect I will look seriously at Esellerate (www.esellerate.net) or something similar when the time comes to release Mac products. Don't underestimate the time you'll spend writing the support system: handle the sales, generate codes, send them out, send them out again because the idiots lost them. Can be a real time sink.

Of course the downside of farming it out is that you're dependent (a bit) on the honesty of that outside party (learned some lessons on that one too!).
