Instead of rotating the view, try rotating the drawing context. Look
at NSAffineTransform and NSGraphicsContext.
You want something like:
[NSGraphicsContext saveGraphicsState];
NSAffineTransform *affineTransform = [NSAffineTransform transform];
[affineTransform translateXBy: 100 yBy: 100];
[affineTransform rotateByDegrees: 35];
/* Draw Text */
[NSGraphicsContext restoreGraphicsState];
