"Automatic outlets"?

  • Subject: "Automatic outlets"?

Hi,

I seem to remember hearing or reading somewhere about "automatic outlets" being something new in the Panther version of Cocoa - outlet variables that would automatically sync themselves to elements of the nib, without having to be explicitly "put there" (ex: a text field which automatically updates itself whenever an IBOutlet var in the main program [or perhaps even a simple var that can be converted, say a float, int, C string, or NSString] changed.)

Is this real, or did I just imagine it?
