[OT] WWDC accommodation

Hi,

I hope this doesn't seem like a strange thing to ask. After toiling on the dark side for a couple of years to raise the money, I'm going to WWDC this year, and I can hardly wait. In my impatience I've booked a room at the Marriott since it seems to be so conveniently close to the Moscone Center and I'm not so great at walking. However, as I'm sure people have noticed, it is very expensive. Since it costs the same amount for two people to use the room as it does for one, I was wondering if any Cocoa developer wants to share the room and go halves on the cost.

I guess there are probably a lot of other people going to WWDC alone who would want to make a similar arrangement, so perhaps some way of organising roommates should be set up. I haven't been to WWDC before so I don't know if anything like that has been set up before, it seems like it would be quite a common situation.

Any discussion about paragraph #2 should be on-list, any responses to paragraph #1 off-list. I'm sure we're all decent, honest folk on this list so it needn't be said, but anyone likely to steal my luggage, dip my hand into warm water while I'm sleeping, or read anything sleazy into this request need not respond.
