I never had it on and it still happens. I usually just force-quit it
since it's faster than waiting for anything else to happen. I also
_very_ often see problems with needing to hit the build button two,
three, and sometimes even four times to get a build to work. Each time
I hit it, it builds and fails on some error. Then I build again and it
fails on a different error. Usually two times makes it finally build
correctly.
I used to quit XCode. Now I just close the project and reopen it.
That works for me, anyway.
I used to see the multiple changing errors, too. It happened when I
had predictive compilation turned on. I turned it off because I
thought that it was causing those multiple errors. I don't have the
changing errors anymore, but I still do have the hanging builds when
there are errors or warnings.
