Resize NSTextView

  • Subject: Resize NSTextView

After countless searching of the archives and trying every example that I could find I am at a loss on how to get an NSTextView to resize like the To: field in Mail.app.

I'm trying to get an NSTextView to behave like the To: field in Mail.app with regards to the field vertically resizing itself larger (or smaller) depending on the amount of text in the field. To see what I mean, just type in a large amount of text in the To: field in Mail.app and you will see it automatically resize to accommodate all of the typed text. After 4 lines of text a scrollbar even appears.

Has anyone had any success on getting this type of functionality?

Thanks,

Jonathan
