Isn't that really outside the scope of Rendezvous? It is a discovery
service intended to help make connections. The synchronization issue
would be implementation specific wouldn't it? And as from what you said
you already have the connection between client and server?

Rather than having the server say how long until something happens, why
not have it say when something will happen (along with its current time
perhaps) and the client can fudge for any time difference between the
two machines?

I'm writing a rendezvous app that requires only a bit of
synchronization for visual purposes. Once the client recognizes an
NSNetService, the server tells it how long until a certain event will
take place. Then the client flashes a clock and counts down to that
event. The only problem is, I believe some time passes (but am not
sure how much) when the server app sends the client the object
containing the time till event. IS there any way to be able to have
two clocks synched using rendezvous?
