Creating a custom NSTextField that displays a progress indicator

  • Subject: Creating a custom NSTextField that displays a progress indicator

I am working on familiarizing myself with creating customized controls and
decided on trying to add a spinning progress indicator to an NSTextField.
However, since I haven't had much experience with subclassing any of the
AppKit classes I don't know where to begin. Could someone point me in the
right direction towards tutorials or some example code? Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Eric Czarny
