I was more or less figuratively speaking, of course...since modules are
closed groups regarding (M,'+')
but not regarding (M,F,'*') - which is not +, obviously...
Now the only question remains how to define a well-defined operation *
which operates on char (scalars) and strings (members of the module)...
Well. I better stop right now, or else I never again can complain about
something being offtopic ;-)
