Though I'm sure I'm just not searching for the right terms, I've not
been able to find a direct answer on this. I want to subclass
NSArrayController and add a few controller keys such as
arrangedObjects.
I looked at Mmalc's FilteringController example, thinking it would be
along those lines, but this example demonstrates how to filter during
arrangeObjects: after giving it a search term. All views that use this
controller will be affected by the filter in this case.
I'm trying to have one central array controller with about four
different object 'types'. Four different views see only one type of
object simultaneously.
So ... I thought it'd be easier to have something like
"arrangedTypeAObjects" and "arrangedTypeBObjects".
Am I even remotely close to being on the right track? If so, how do I
add my own custom controller key for use in IB? I haven't found
anything specifically on this topic in the docs. If, however, I've
completely missed the mark, please feel free to enlighten me! ;-)
