I haven't tried it, but I think you can just copy the headers and libraries from the Jaguar system into the 10.2.8 SDK on your Panther system. At least that's the first thing I'd do, since the 10.2.8 SDK doesn't include any X11 SDK files. Then hold onto that SDK so you don't lose it if you ever have to reinstall Xcode...
