Then I actually get an accessory view in the save panel, but the two new formats are greyed out in the popup menu and can't be selected! I don't understand why: is there something else to do to export in a different format?

This works a little non-intuitively: You don't use "Save as...", you use "Save to..." to export a file. Since, IMHO, "Save to..." isn't different enough from "Save as..." and invites people to mix them up, I'd name the saveTo: menu item "Export..." or "Export to..." instead.

That is what I did, but the problem is that the popup menu in the accessory view defaults to the standard format of my app: this is weird for an export menu. So does anyone know if there is a way to default the popup menu to something else?

Thanks,

Thomas Lachand-Robert
