Mark, Keep in mind that a cell is not a view: Cells don't get events, unless something else passes an event along to them. Typically, a control will pass events to its cell. If you want your cell to get -mouseEntered: and -mouseExited: events, some view will have to set a tracking rect, and then pass the events to your cell when the view gets them.
