Have you double-checked your connections in IB? IB makes it easy - too
easy, IMO - to mistakenly connect an action from the enclosing scroll
view instead of from the table view.
If the table view is selected in IB, so that there are eight small
resizing boxes displayed at the sides and corners, then simply
ctrl-dragging will create a connection from the scroll view. What you
need to do is double-click the table view in IB, so that a thick blue
border appears around it, *then* ctrl-drag the connection. Also, you
need to make sure you ctrl-click on the table contents - if you
mistakenly start the ctrl-drag on a header, you'll end up with an
action from the table column, instead of the table view.
