Uhh... I don't think that would be very useful... Finder's support
for FTP is both royally broken and abysmally slow. It only supports
read access.
What about WebDAV then?
You mean iDisk's W.....e.....b.....D.....A.....V ... ?
Just kidding. It works fine for Subversion, so I guess it's not the
protocol.
Why messing with the Finder in the first place?
I mean, you can write a file-system and all applications can use it
just fine, not only Finder.
Why would people prefer a kludge to a general solution? Just because
you like Finder and its great user interface and bug-free performance
or is there some other reason?
