Do you care if user changes the SystemFont?

  • Subject: Do you care if user changes the SystemFont?

A general design question:

I've carefully designed my windows in IB, and a user complains that the text displayed doesn't fit. It appears he has changed the default fonts used by the system.

How do you handle such cases? Knowing text can always be bigger than what you expect, even if you leave some additional space?

Do you care, or just tell the user to stick to the defaults?

Thanks,
Stephan Burlot
