Again, what are you trying to do in a broader sense? Why are you trying to delete files that you need special permissions to remove? Smells funny. Perhaps if you disclose what you're trying to do you'll get some good feedback.


In the meantime, have a look at MoreAuthSample. It claims to be easier to use and supports information exchange with the helper tool by passing CFDictionaries. <http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/MoreAuthSample/ MoreAuthSample.html>
