Alternatively, CFLocale.h

I've been unable to figure out what key is needed to obtain the measurement units (US or Metric) as can be set in the International prefs panel (this is under Panther/10.3.7).

NSUserDefaults.h seems to have all the keys for dates, times and numbers, except for the measurement units.

The reason I'd like this info is that my educational app displays a speed as part of a user's score. I want to suffix the speed value with an appropriate unit (e.g. mph, km/h)

I'll file a bug if need be.
