Okay, I'll bite.
What exactly do you mean by this? If you mean to ask if there are any
limitations as to what kind of file format you can create, then ... no.
You can create any format you want, provided you code for it.
If you mean, "What kind of file formats does Cocoa have built-in
support for?" then I can't think of an answer off the top of my head.
But, general TXT, RTF, and XML are supported for text / object stuff.
I'd imagine TIFF and JPG are supported out-of-the-box for images. MOV,
AIFF, MP3 (reading only, I think), for audio / video ... Basically,
all the Mac-standard file formats are supported automagically, I
believe.
If anyone else has anything to add or correct, please by all means.
It's good to know, I suppose.
